Organisation and planning of the

veneering procedure

Assistance with the selection of a treatment facility and specialists for the veneers procedure

What are dental veneers?

They can cover a wide range of aesthetic imperfections, including cracks, gaps, tooth discoloration, erosion, slight crookedness, broken teeth, teeth that are too small, and more.

It is important to note that veneers are only an option if you do not have serious oral health issues. Veneers change the color, shape and size of your natural teeth. Even if your teeth are in bad shape, if you have healthy gums and good bone structure, you can get veneers.

types of veneers

Composite or photopolymer veneers are made from filling material (high grade esthetic photopolymer). They are made quickly and can be fixed directly in the mouth without being removed. They achieve very good aesthetics and are more gentle than filing hard dental tissues. But unlike porcelain veneers, they have less resistance and strength of the photopolymer (the photopolymer changes its color over time and becomes more fragile), but there is a possibility of repair.

Ceramic (porcelain) veneers are the standard veneers in which a ceramic veneer is placed over the filed part of the tooth. The advantages of this type of veneers are indisputable – the color set with them remains unchanged throughout the lifetime of the veneers, and the maintenance itself is extremely easy. However, they are impossible to repair when broken and the entire veneer needs to be replaced.

Zirconia veneers are manufactured with extreme precision. Their use is suitable for more serious oral problems and for patients with allergies. A special system is used in our production and they are an extremely good alternative to porcelain and composite veneers.

What is the difference between dental veneers and dental crowns?

Veneers cover only the front surface of the tooth to improve its appearance. A dental crown, on the other hand, covers the entire tooth structure to add strength and protection. Dental veneers are a cosmetic treatment. In other words, they improve your smile, but they don’t necessarily strengthen or restore your teeth. While dental crowns can also improve the appearance of your teeth, their primary purpose is to restore teeth that are severely damaged. Dental veneers usually last between 10 and 15 years, even longer.

With veneers, it is possible to completely transform and improve the appearance of the smile. In appearance, veneers look natural and do not differ from natural teeth. A specific shape, size and color of the veneers can be chosen. To maintain your new smile with veneers, as with natural teeth, good oral hygiene is necessary.

The most important thing is to consider all options and choose an experienced specialist and team who will customize your veneers to suit your face, your preferences and aesthetic goals. Take advantage of your FREE CONSULTATION now!
